Dragon's Den: Two Single Stupid Women
Jill and Claire come with the product named the TingaTang. TingaTang is a bracelet which shows other people that you are single and ready to meet someone. Jill and Claire try to convince the dragons by sketching a situation in where guys don't know who is single so therefore instead of simply asking it, they don't do anything at all. TingaTang would be the solution. Unfortunately the product is very poorly received. One of the dragons even calls someone who would wear it a 'poor sad person'. Of course the two women aren't able to get a investment from one of the dragons.
My opinion
This product is one of the most stupid ideas I ever heard. Who would wear such a thing? It looks ridiculous for starters, it is humiliating to wear and I can't see why you wouldn't just ask someone if there single if you are so dying to find out. You are given a mouth a birth so use it. This around your neck basically screams: "Hey guys! Look at me! I'm single and have no moral standards!" They needed to spend more time investigating into their target audience. Then they would have probably found out that nobody is going to wear such a thing.
